Zhilei: I agree to fight Jake Paul. Who doesn’t want to make money?

Zhang also wished good luck to the legendary Tyson in his upcoming confrontation with an opponent less than half his age

Former WBO interim heavyweight champion Zhang Zhilei (27-2-1, 22 KO) admitted that he would not mind fighting a Youtube blogger, actor and boxer in the ring Jake Paul (10-1, 7 KO).

“A fight with Jake Paul? Yes, I’ll do it. Who doesn’t want to make money? If this happens, it will be easy money.”

The Chinese heavyweight also wished the boxing legend Mike Tyson good luck in his upcoming fight with Paul:

“I watched Mike Tyson fight when I was growing up, and in my mind he was the god of war. Now, at 60, he is fighting a guy in his thirties, which is already an incredible achievement. I really hope for the best for him and wish him the best of luck.”

In early June, Zhilei defeated former world champion Deontay Wilder. Before that, in March, the Chinese lost to Joseph Parker. It was reported that both boxers agreed in advance about a potential rematch, and are ready to fulfill the terms of the contract.

The fight between 27-year-old Paul and Mike Tyson, who turned 58 this summer, will take place on November 15. The event will take place in Arlington, Texas, at AT&T Stadium.

In November 2020, Tyson had an exhibition fight with former world champion in five weight categories, Roy Jones. The match ended in a draw. On the undercard of the event, Jake Paul knocked out Nate Robinson.

Tyson had his last professional fight in 2005. Mike lost by TKO in the sixth round to Irishman Kevin McBride.
