Athletistic/ Boxing. Former Irish boxer Barry McGuigan is hoping for victory over Britain’s Anthony Joshua in a fight against Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk, but sees Usyk as the favourite.
“It seems to me that Joshua will not win this fight. He is not the right fighter psychologically. In a rematch, he should be looking for a knockout opportunity and constantly putting pressure on Usyk. Now he has to take risks. I sincerely believe that Joshua has a chance to win, but something deep inside me tells me that Usyk will do the same,” McGuigan said.
The rematch between Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk will take place on August 20, 2022 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The first fight between these boxers took place on September 25, 2021 in London: in this one, Usyk defeated Joshua by unanimous decision.
