The organizer of the Hype FC organization’s mixed martial arts (MMA) tournament, Muhammed Nosaev, also known as Alfredo Auditore, commented on the event’s cancellation on social media.
The tournament was scheduled to take place on the evening of November 12 in the village of Novoivanovskoye near Moscow at the Live Arena. The event was interrupted after security forces appeared.
— In eight days, we sold eight thousand tickets. This is a record, probably impossible numbers. As a result, our tournament is canceled. This happens in life,” Nosaev said in a video on his social networks.
The main event of the evening was supposed to be the fight between Marif Piraev and Nariman Abbasov.
