Mikhail Mamiashvili became the only candidate for the post of head of the Russian Wrestling Federation (FSBR), according to the organization’s official website.
The FSBR reporting and election conference will take place on November 21 in Moscow.
Delegates from 78 regional federations will attend the conference. 35 candidates were presented for management positions for 31 seats on the executive committee. The current president of the FSBR, Mamiashvili, will be re-elected without contest.
In addition, the FSBR Executive Committee received five applications for first vice-presidents, 11 applications for vice-presidents and another 18 for members of the executive committee.
Mamiashvili has headed the FSBI since 1997.
