Ukrainian Zahozhy will receive a new opponent for the fight on November 23

Swiss Arnold Grjerzhai was injured and will not be able to meet with the Ukrainian boxer

Ukrainian heavyweight boxer Alexander Zakhozhy (19-0, 15 KOs) will get a new opponent to defend his title EBU European Champion.

Alexander was supposed to fight with the Swiss fighter Arnold Grzherzhai. However, his opponent was injured. The Ukrainian’s new opponent will be announced soon.

The fight is scheduled for November 23 in Heidelberg, Germany. The undercard will feature a fight for the WBC, WBA, WBO and The Ring world champion belts in women’s boxing between German representative Tina Rupprecht and Japanese Eri Matsuda.

Let us remind you that Zakhozhy won his EBU European heavyweight champion title in April 2024, defeating the German Granit Shalu in the title fight. Before this, the Ukrainian fought in March 2023, knocking out German Muhammad Ali Durmaz.

Zahozhiy was also previously part of former UFC champion Francis Ngannou’s training camp, helping him prepare for fights against Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua.
