The IBF champion can meet in the ring with the interim title holder of another organization.
Frank Warren, the promoter of IBF heavyweight title holder Daniel Dubois, has spoken about his immediate plans for his protégé.
A representative of the British boxer said that his client’s opponent in the fight, scheduled for February next year, could be the interim WBO champion, New Zealander Joseph Parker.
“We have almost reached what we need. So, hopefully we can take the next step today or tomorrow and be ready to announce it.
Joseph Parker’s name is on the list. He had some great wins. But we’ll see,” said talkSPORT’s Warren.
Previously, Daniel Dubois’ promoter doubted a rematch with Anthony Joshua next year.
