There is a month left until the main fight of December – the second fight between Alexander Usik and Tyson Fury
On December 21 in Riyadh, the former WBC world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KO) and holder of WBC, IBO, WBA and WBO heavyweight belts Alexander Usik (22-0, 14 KOs) will meet in the ring in a rematch. A month before second fight between Usyk and Fury Sport Arena talks about money for the main fight in December: fees, tickets, broadcasts.
A ticket for the Usyk-Fury rematch can be bought for 670 hryvnia
Compared to a month ago, the organizers put up additional sectors of the 30,000-capacity Kingdom Arena for sale. In mid-October, on a resale site, the cheapest ticket cost $65 (2,653 hryvnia), the most expensive – in Ringside – 20 thousand dollars (825,000 hryvnia).
On November 21, the cheapest ticket for the Usyk-Fury rematch can be purchased for 670 hryvnia ($16).
On the other hand, the most expensive ticket available for sale already costs 1,443,000 hryvnia ($34,350).
Usik and Fury’s fees in rematch
According to media reports, Fury’s total income for the first fight with Usyk, including a percentage of PPV sales and advertising contracts, amounted to $110 million (50 is a guaranteed fee, 50 is a percentage of paid broadcasts, 10 is advertising revenue). Usik earned $55 million (30+20+5) for the fight with Fury.
Now, according to unofficial information, the total prize fund for the Usyk-Fury rematch will be $190 million. Usik will earn 115 million (60%), Fury – 75 million (40%). However, it is not yet clear whether boxers will have payments from PPV included.
Cost of broadcasting the Usyk-Fury rematch
The official broadcaster of the Oleksandr Usyk-Tyson Fury rematch will be the DAZN platform. The Usyk-Fury rematch will be broadcast via the Pay-Per-View system. The subscription price will be $39.99.
The first fight between Usik and Fury was also exclusively broadcast by the MEGOGO media service with Ukrainian commentators.

As part of the boxing evening on December 21, Alexander Usik – Tyson Fury, several interesting fights await us: first of all, this is, of course, the fight of the former WBC interim world champion in junior middleweight, Ukrainian Sergei Bogachuk (24-2, 23 KO) with ex-world champion from Uzbekistan Israil Madrimov (10-0-2, 7 KOs).
