UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones said he had no plans to end his professional career after beating Stipe Miocic in the main event of UFC 309 in New York.
“It’s only been five days and I’m already hungry. I continue to train, despite a few scrapes. Ready to take on new challenges and broaden your horizons. The adventure continues. Let’s see where this all goes,” Jones wrote on social media.
On November 16, the American defended his championship belt by defeating Stipe Miocic by technical knockout in the third round. Jones fought 30 professional fights, won 28 victories (11 KOs) and suffered a defeat against American Matt Hamill.
The result of the fight for the championship with Daniel Cormier (Jones’ knockout victory) was overturned because Jones was arrested for doping.
