— It was 1998. I just started going to school. Our entire childhood at that time was spent “on the street”. We lived for sport and football was an integral part of it. This moment became fateful for me: I became a member of the red and white family, a fan of the team, then led by the great Oleg Romantsev. Of course, I signed up for the football section, because I dreamed of going out on the very field where Titov, Tsymbalar, Alenichev, Parfenov, Tikhonov and other champions shone.
The years have passed, the stadiums, coaches and players have changed, but I myself have chosen a different path: combat sport. But despite this, my love for football has not faded and it still holds the first place in my heart among all sports. And now, 26 years later, I find myself on the field of my favorite team – but not as a footballer. Honestly, I can’t find words to express the emotions I felt when I was invited. It was a childish delight that, even in my adult life, proved indescribable. It’s more than just a memory, it’s a whole layer of my life that came back for a moment. I am beyond grateful for this incredible gift.
As for the game, I can say one thing: Spartak never stops fighting for the championship title. With such football, such an atmosphere and this courage, I can’t even imagine that the team could take second or third place. This kind of game makes Spartak a real contender for the championship! – Makhno told .
