Greco-Roman wrestler Musa Yevloev Russia’s strongest athletes will miss the All-Russian Olympics for health reasons, said head coach of the Russian national team Gogi Koguashvili.
Musa took a long break. He is not in good health. He maintains his form, trains, but he has difficulties with his back, with his knee. It is clear that you will not find a wrestler who will not hurt anything, but Musa’s situation is not easy and he is not yet ready to fight,” Koguashvili told the website of the Russian Wrestling Federation (FSBR).
Evloev is 29 years old, he is champion of the Tokyo Olympics, double world champion (2018, 2019), double European champion (2019, 2021).
Wrestling competitions within the framework of the Spartakiad will be held in Kazan from August 21 to 26.
