Famous promoter Eddie Hearn commented on the information that the legendary Ukrainian boxer, former world heavyweight champion Vladimir Klitschko considered the idea of resuming his career and fighting the IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois.
“This is very surprising. Some time ago I was at dinner with Vladimir, Turki Al-Ash-Sheikh and Frank Warren. I think it was before the Joshua-Dubois fight. Vladimir still looks incredible. You can still tell he wants to fight. But you can’t beat age.”
“Klitschko fought his last fight against Anthony Joshua in 2017. Next year it will be eight years since this fight. So I don’t think it’s a good idea, especially when you’re fighting a young bull like Daniel Dubois. But Vladimir is Vladimir. He has the right to look where his heart tells him.”
The date for a potential fight between Wladimir Klitschko and Daniel Dubois was called February 22, 2025, and the venue was Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Negotiations were stopped after the fight of 58-year-old Mike Tyson against YouTube blogger and boxer Jake Paul, in which the boxing legend was defeated after not the best performance on his part.

Wladimir Klitschko retired from his professional career after losing to Anthony Joshua in 2017. In total, the Ukrainian fought 69 fights in the professional ring, winning 64 of them.
