The Briton hopes that his compatriot will knock out the Ukrainian
Former “Interim” WBC World Champion Dillian Whyte believes that the ex-world champion Anthony Joshua should be more aggressive in a rematch with a Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk.
“I am of the same mindset. I think this is the right attitude. Being aggressive is the only way to win this fight. Anthony has to make the decision to be dirty and nasty.”
“When we fought Joshua, there was a lot of aggression in both fights. This is the difference, there was no such thing in the duel with Usyk. It was like Joshua was trying to outbox someone who’s been boxing for 25-30 years.”
“I believe if Anthony returns to his aggression, he will knock out Usyk.”
Earlier, Usyk said that the upcoming rematch with Joshua will not be an easy task for him, despite the fact that the Ukrainian will enter the ring as a champion.
Oleksandr also explained that he bought the rights to broadcast the fight in Ukraine so that Ukrainians could watch the fight for free and spend the saved money on supporting the army.
The second fight between Usyk and Joshua will take place on August 20 in Saudi Arabia.
In Ukraine, the rematch between Usyk and Joshua will be broadcast by the MEGOGO media service and the 2+2 TV channel. Oleksandr personally purchased the rights to broadcast his fight with AJ in order to transfer them to Ukrainian broadcasters for free.
Last fall, Usyk defeated Joshua by unanimous decision to become world heavyweight champion for the first time.
