Russian boxer Vsevolod Shumkov defeated compatriot Armen Ataev in an eight-round fight in the second featherweight division at the RCC Boxing Promotions tournament.
The fight took place in Yekaterinburg and ended with Shumkov’s victory by unanimous decision. Shumkov is the holder of the IBA belt in the weight category up to 57 kg, 2024 European champion and bronze medalist at the 2023 World Championships.
Shumkov, 23, now has two victories in the professional ring.
