President of the International Boxing Association (IBA) Umar Kremlev and the Russian Boxing Federation will allocate approximately 10,000 sets of uniforms to athletes in need in the country in 2025.
— In 2025, each athlete must have their own personal boxing uniform and each gym must have suitable conditions according to the standards of the Russian Boxing Federation. Together with the Boxing Federation, we will outfit athletes (boxing shoes, gloves, etc.) and equip regional boxing gyms with equipment for those who need it,” Kremlev wrote on social media.
As the IBA press service clarified, more than nine thousand sets of boxing uniforms and equipment will be allocated to athletes in need.
Kremlev has headed the IBA since 2020.
