Yod-IQ defeated Kirill Khomutov in main event
Yod-IQ Or Pimolsri extended his winning streak to five fights with a split decision victory over Kirill Khomutov in their Muay Thai bantamweight bout.
Khomutov started aggressively, immediately putting pressure on his opponent, but the Thai fighter responded with numerous punches and quickly took the initiative through successful kick and punch combinations.
However, the Russian continued to press and Yod-IQ had to rely on counter-fists and distance to repel the Kemerovo fighter’s assault. This tactic worked only partially, since Khomutov successfully began to work in the clinch, injuring his opponent with his elbows.
In the decisive round, Khomutov tried to snatch victory by aiming for blows to the head, but his opponent managed to avoid serious damage and responded with precise kicks. Two of the three judges gave Yoda-IQ the victory. The split decision victory improved Yoda-IQ’s record to 7-1 in ONE and 122-36 overall.
Yunusov knocked out Chabibi and extended his unbeaten streak
17-year-old phenom Rustam Yunusov showed off his striking prowess by knocking out Taufik Chabibi in the second round of their 138-pound Muay Thai fight.
The young Russian fighter started the fight with a powerful and precise elbow strike in the first round, leaving no chance for Chabibi to find his rhythm. Chabibi tried to advance in the second round, but Yunusov took advantage of the moment to pin him on the ropes. There he began a series of continuous punches to the body and head, sending the Moroccan to the canvas.
Chabibi managed to get back up, but Yunusov finished him off with a clean elbow and a crushing knee, ending the fight at 2:58 of the second round. The knockout victory improved Yunusov’s ONE record to 3-0 and his overall record to 12-0.
