The trainer of absolute world light heavyweight champion Artur Beterbiev, Mark Ramsey, told that they are happy with the date of the rematch with Dmitry Bivol.
Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority of Saudi Arabia Turki Al al-Sheikh announced that the rematch between Bivol and Beterbiev will take place on February 22 in Riyadh. The first fight between two Russian boxers took place on October 12, 2024 and ended with Beterbiev’s victory by majority decision. As a result of this fight, Beterbiev became the absolute light heavyweight world champion.

Beterbiev won 21 victories (20 by knockout) in the professional ring, Bivol had 23 victories and one defeat.
