The second fight between Russian boxers Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol will take place on February 22, 2025 in Riyadh, Turki Al ash-Sheikh, Chairman of the General Directorate of Entertainment Affairs of Saudi Arabia, said on social media.
The first fight between two Russian boxers took place on October 12, 2024 and ended with Beterbiev’s victory by split decision. As a result of this fight, Beterbiev became the absolute light heavyweight world champion.
Beterbiev won 21 victories (20 by knockout) in the professional ring, Bivol had 23 victories and one defeat. In May 2022, Bivol defeated the first ranked number one by unanimous decision, regardless of Alvarez’s weight classes.
