Redkach about Usyk: I don’t like piz*uns

Ivan is dissatisfied with the actions of the Ukrainian heavyweight

Ukrainian boxer of the first welterweight Ivan Redkach criticized the Ukrainian world heavyweight champion according to WBA, WBO and IBF Oleksandr Usyk for his image at the press conference before the rematch with the British Anthony Joshua..

Usyk chose the costume of a Ukrainian Cossack, complementing it with a traditional vyshyvanka. After the battle of views with Joshua, the Ukrainian sang an excerpt from the song “Oh, there is a red viburnum in the blue”.

“Clown of pure water. I’m not his hater – I don’t like piz*uns,” Redkach wrote on Twitter.

Recently, the Ukrainian has been marked by ambiguous statements in social networks. Redkach said that politics and sports should not be mixed. To his Twitter post, he added a photo with Russian Dmitry Bivol.

The boxer also criticized the wife of Alexander Usik Ekaterina for her statements about the war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.

Redkach last fought in April 2021, losing to Regis Prograis by TKO in the sixth round. Ivan claimed that the American hit him below the belt, but the Georgia State Commission unanimously rejected the Ukrainian’s appeal on the outcome of the fight.

The second fight between Usyk and Joshua will take place on August 20 in Saudi Arabia. In Ukraine, the fight will be broadcast by the MEGOGO media service and the 2+2 TV channel.

Recall that last fall, Usyk defeated Joshua by unanimous decision and became the world heavyweight champion for the first time.
