Mike Tyson is seen in a wheelchair at the airport and worries

Mike Tyson was spotted at the airport in Miami being carried by an employee in a wheelchair; star posed for photos with fans despite the situation

Mike Tyson left his fans and admirers worried this Tuesday, 16. It turns out that the 56-year-old former boxer was caught being taken in a wheelchair by an employee around the Miami International Airport. The scene put a question mark on the viewer’s mind, as he recently claimed that “his expiration date” is near.

However, according to the information that was published by the British newspaper “Daily Mail”, the reason why Mike Tyson would have needed this help to get around the airport is already well known. The boxing star is reportedly dealing with a “sciatica crisis”, something he has had to deal with in the past.

Despite probably being in some kind of pain, and being in that situation, the champion stopped to take pictures with the fans he met on the way as he walked through the terminal with a cane in his lap. His expression, at least in the photos that were published, was quite serene, without any kind of different feeling.

This Mike Tyson “spotting” came three weeks after the former boxer was seen moving more carefully than usual while in New York. At the time, he was filmed taking a car ride to the hotel where he was staying, but using what appeared to be the same cane he held in his lap at the Florida airport.

At first, the image shocked by the fact that last month, Tyson stated that he believes his “expiration date” is approaching. “We’re all going to die one day, of course. So when I look in the mirror, I see those little blemishes on my face and I say, ‘Wow. That means my expiration date is near, very soon,'” said the star in an interview with the podcast “Hotboxin”.
