2020 Olympics Bronze Medalist in Judo Madina Taimazova considers that holding the All-Russian Spartakiad in summer sports among the strongest athletes is the right decision in the absence of international competitions.
The Spartakiad judo tournament will be held in Kazan from August 23 to 24.
– Holding the Spartakiad is a very good idea. Because Russian representatives of different sports have not practiced competition at a high international level for a long time. It is very bad for training. I am very positive about participating in these competitions. The opportunity to compete at such a high level will benefit all participants. The Spartakiad will allow you to experience the taste of real wrestling,” said the Russian Judo Federation, citing Taimazova.
The Spartakiad started on August 10 and will end on October 2.
