The second fight between Usyk and Joshua will take place on August 20 in Saudi Arabia
Coach Anthony Joshua – Robert Garcia stated that he would consider the victory of his ward in a rematch with Oleksandr Usykas the greatest achievement in his coaching career.
“I could name a list of fighters who are nearing the end of their careers, but then they come to me and I kind of bring them back to good victories, good fights. Some even became champions after everyone thought they were done.”
“A future Joshua rematch is a challenge that the coach loves, especially the coach who still has a passion for them. I don’t want to take anything away from former champions I’ve worked with or fighters we’ve fought like Mayweather or Manny Pacquiao, but this event is really special, especially for me, it’s a heavyweight championship fight. Not every coach can survive this.”
“I had big wins, but this will be the best win of my coaching career. Despite all that I have achieved, this will probably be the biggest victory. So I need that too, not just Anthony.”
The second fight between Usyk and Joshua will take place on August 20 in Saudi Arabia.
In Ukraine, the Usyk-Joshua rematch will be broadcast by the MEGOGO media service and the 2+2 TV channel. Oleksandr personally purchased the rights to broadcast his fight with AJ in order to transfer them to Ukrainian broadcasters for free.
Last fall, Usyk defeated Joshua by unanimous decision to become world heavyweight champion for the first time.
