Usyk won by split decision, retaining the WBA Super, IBF, WBO and IBO heavyweight championship belts.
“What an amazing fight, I’m very proud of both fighters. Usyk showed the resilience, heart and strategy of a true champion,” Klitschko wrote.
Recall that Usyk’s next opponent could be Tyson Fury.
