In Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, a rematch took place between the current WBA (Super), WBO, IBF and IBO Ukrainian world champion Oleksandr Usyk and the former holder of these titles, the Briton Antoine Joshua .
The fight went through 12 rounds, after which Usyk won by split decision – 113-115, 115-113, 116-112.
For Usyk, this victory was the 20th of his career, he remains undefeated in the professional ring. For Joshua, this is the third defeat of his career.
In September of last year, Usyk won four championship belts from Joshua, winning a unanimous decision after the results of twelve rounds.
