Kurbanov decided to take a break from competition due to the operation.
– During a thorough medical examination, I was diagnosed with varicose veins. I wouldn’t have known I had this problem if the doctors hadn’t paid attention to it. They said they needed surgery. I went to a private clinic in Makhachkala. I had surgery there. It turned out to be simple, right after I went home on my own legs. I don’t feel any discomfort, but I need to take a month and a half break from training. I didn’t go to the Kislovodsk training camp to prepare for the Spartakiad. While at home, at the same time, I treated my lower back, where I had a pinched nerve. He did injections, special exercises.
I plan to join the Russian team in Sochi in September. Then I will play. What will be the tournaments before the end of the year, I will perform there, ”said the press service of the Federation citing Kurbanov.
The Spartakiad started on August 10 and will end on October 2. Competitions in 39 sports will be organized by sports facilities in 12 regions of the country. A total of 353 medal sets will be played.
