The first rounds of the fight went at a calm pace, both boxers did not force things and worked at a distance. The Ukrainian traditionally moved a lot, and the Briton tried to use his advantage in size and often punched through the opponent’s body.

In the fourth round, Usyk began to deliver more accurate punches and respond to the Briton’s attacks. The next rounds went on a collision course, both boxers tried to actively move forward and seize the initiative. The Ukrainian tried to work in series, often punched from the left, and Joshua relied on power punches and combinations. In the eighth round, the Briton pressed Usyk to the ropes and delivered several powerful blows to the Ukrainian’s body, and in the ninth he carried out several accurate and successful attacks.

In the tenth round, the Ukrainian not only leveled the situation, but also managed to seriously hit Joshua several times, inflicting a large number of accurate blows. In the last two rounds, both Alexander and Anthony tried not to slow down, but still the Ukrainian looked much fresher than the Briton and attacked more accurately.
