Fury wants £125m to fight Usyk

Previously, this amount appeared as the general honorary fund of the fight.

WBC Champion Tyson Fury wants 125 million pounds for a unification bout with the WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight title holder Oleksandr Usyk.

According to The Sun, Fury is not only asking for such a huge fee, but also wants a percentage of the sale of broadcasts of the fight.

Earlier, Fury’s co-promoter Frank Warren said that a very large fee fund was needed to organize a unification fight with Usyk.

As reported by the Daily Mail, the venue for the fight will be the capital of Saudi Arabia – Riyadh. The total honorary fund is 125 million pounds. The fight is expected to take place on the eve of the 2022 FIFA World Cup final in Qatar

Later, Usyk’s promoter, Alexander Krasyuk, denied that the fight with Fury would be held on December 17 in Saudi Arabia. According to him, negotiations are ongoing.

Immediately after the rematch victory over Joshua Usyk called out WBC champion Tyson Fury to fight. Following the results of all twelve rounds, Usyk defeated Joshua by a split decision of the judges.
