Ukrainian signed a contract with the promotional company Star Boxing
Ukrainian boxer Ivan Redkach (23-6-1, 18 KOs) officially returns to the ring. The athlete signed a contract with a promotion company Star Boxing and will perform in lightweight division.
“I am very happy to be back in the ring. Thanks to everyone who believes in me, we are back. We have unfinished business left – the fight for the world title, ”wrote the boxer in social networks.
Redkach announced his comeback in early August. The athlete said that he expects to reach the top level again.
We will remind, Ivan put 70 thousand dollars on the victory of Anthony Joshua in a rematch with Alexander Usik. Having changed his mind, the boxer tried to cancel the bet, but it was already too late.
Redkach last fought in April 2021, losing to Regis Prograis by TKO in the sixth round. Ivan claimed that the American hit him below the belt, but the Georgia State Commission unanimously rejected the Ukrainian’s appeal on the outcome of the fight.
