Top Rank approved the date officially
Rematch between the undisputed lightweight champion Devin Haney (28-0, 15 KOs) and ex-champion George Kambosos (20-1, 10 KOs) will be held on October 15.
The date was officially confirmed by Top Rank promotion company. The second fight will take place at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne. At stake in the fight will be the champion titles of the American WBA, WBO, IBF and WBC.
Recall that in the duel for the title of absolute world champion Haney defeated Kambosos by unanimous decision of the judges – 116:112, 116:112 and 118:110. After that, George activated the option of a rematch with Haney.
