Usyk wants to raise 1 million dollars for Ukraine before the rematch with Joshua

The WBA WBO, IBF and IBO world champion recounted how he plans to help his country in the fight against the invader.

Oleksandr Usyk spoke about his plan to help Ukraine in the war against the Russian occupiers. According to the WBA WBO, IBF and IBO heavyweight champion, he plans to issue 2,000 unique tokens (NFTs).

So, the boxer wants to raise a million dollars. The athlete spoke about it in an interview with Reuters.

Usyk also revealed that all the tokens were designed by artist Dosbrak, who has collaborated with other famous fighters like Mike Tyson and Conor McGregor.

NFTs will be sold before Anthony Joshua’s rematch. One of the buyers will receive two tickets for his duel with the British as a gift from Usyk.

“A lot of people in Ukraine are in need of help now. I think, once these tokens are given, a lot of people will actually receive help. These are the people who really need it,” Usyk said.
