WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight title fight Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) and ex-champion Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs) gathered a record audience.
Media service MEGOGO calculated that 1.5 million unique viewers watched the fight. During the broadcast, the load on the server infrastructure was 2.6 times higher than in the previous top event.
In the fight for the WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight title, Oleksandr Usyk defeated Anthony Joshua.
Following the results of all twelve rounds, Usyk defeated Joshua by a split decision: 115-113, 116-112 and 113-115.
The Ukrainian won the twentieth victory in the professional ring. For Joshua, the second loss to Usyk was the third in his career.
Recall that the first fight between Usyk and Joshua took place in the fall of 2021. Then the Ukrainian defeated the Briton by unanimous decision and became the WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight champion for the first time.
