“The leg is healing. I think there’s still some work to be done, but he’s been training like crazy twice a day, every day. He’s got his full team there, the McGregor Fast Team, the whole health and fitness team, physio, boxing, trainers. He’s been working hard, he’s been training super hard. He’s in great shape, making final adjustments to get his leg back to how it needs to be.”, he detailed.
The Irish fighter has a good record in the UFC rings, totaling 22 wins and only 6 losses, being considered one of the biggest names in the sport of the decade. In the Octagon, of 4 occasions, he only came out victorious in one: UFC 246, in 2020, where he won Donald Cerrone. His last appearance in the Octagon was precisely at the time of the injury.
