“People forget who I am, who I was and what I did. Everyone said, ‘If you don’t need it, then what will help you get up?’ I was so mad at Dana White? He never gave me a chance Since I came to the UFC he never gave me a chance He just wrote me off, never counted my career in Strikeforce. He only counted my losses,” Rockhold noted.
Luke Rockhold moved from the Strikeforce promotion to the UFC in 2013. Under the auspices of the UFC, Rockhold had 6 wins and 5 losses. In total, the American has 16 wins, 6 losses, 0 draw in professional MMA.
On August 20, 2022, at UFC 278, Rockhold lost to Brazilian Paulo Costa via unanimous decision, after which he announced his retirement from mixed martial arts.
