The Spartakiad champion, representing Moscow, dedicated the victory to her Tatar grandmother

Judoka Kamila Badurova, who won Spartakiad in the weight category up to 63 kilograms, answered questions from the correspondent after the final.

– The Spartakiad is a prestigious competition, – said the winner, – but the main thing here is to show yourself against the background of other girls, so that they remain in the team for international departures.

“The last match was difficult. Thanks to what did you manage to win the victory in the last seconds?

– I lost to the same opponent at the St. Petersburg tournament, now I decided to use his tactics: not to listen to the throw, but to win tactically.

– What are your plans for the near future?

– In October, the world championship will be held in Tashkent. I don’t know how everything will turn out and if they will include me in the team, but I’m really counting on it.

– Immediately after the finish, you said that you dedicate the victory to your grandmother. Does it have anything to do with judo?

– No, she was an ordinary Tatar grandmother, she lived not far from Kazan. Unfortunately, she passed away last year.

Judo competitions in Spartakiad will end on August 24.
