WBC British heavyweight champion Tyson’s Fury named the date when the necessary amount should be collected to organize his fight with the Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk .
Usyk defeated the British on August 20 Antoine Joshua by split decision and retained three heavyweight championship belts: WBO, WBA and IBF. The Ukrainian challenged Fury to a fight immediately after the fight, the Briton accepted Usyk’s challenge.
– To all those who want to organize this fight: I give you seven days, you have until September 1st to raise funds. Otherwise, thank you very much everyone, but I’m ending my career,” Fury said on his social media.
Fury expected a fee of £420m.
Fury has announced his retirement several times. The Brit won 32 out of 33 fights in the professional ring, one more fight ended in a draw. Usyk, undefeated, has 20 wins.
