In March, United World of Wrestling (UWW) suspended Russian athletes from international competitions due to the situation in Ukraine.
“The suspension has of course affected the moral component,” Mamiashvili told . “People have devoted most of their lives to hard and exhausting work. Not least for the sake of world and Olympic prospects. And they were shown the door, and even in a cruel and illegal form.
