Two-time European wrestling champion Khoroshavtseva won Spartakiad gold on her birthday

Olga Khoroshavtseva won gold in wrestling up to 57 kg at the All-Russian Spartakiad of Summer Sports among the strongest athletes in 2022.

In the last fight, the athlete, who turned 28 on Wednesday, defeated Marina Simonyan. The bronze medalists in this weight category were Irina Ologonova and Maria Buzarova. Khoroshavtseva is a double European champion, bronze medalist of the World Championship.

The 2020 European champion Khanum Veliyeva won the competition in the weight category up to 68 kg, in the final her opponent was Vusala Parfianovich. The bronze medalists are Natalia Fedoseeva and Liza Dudayeva.

World Championship medalist Ekaterina Poleshchuk became the Spartakiad champion in the weight category up to 55 kg, defeating Venera Nafikova in the final. Bronze was shared by Alexandra Skirenko and Sevil Nazarova.
