World Boxing Association (WBA) light heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol was received by the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov. The meeting was organized as part of a ceremony to recognize his career and his successes in the world of boxing.
Sadyr Japarov spoke with the WBA champion and exchanged gifts, reports Saddoboxing.
Bivol was born in Kyrgyzstan and has the citizenship of this country, and also represents Russia.
Previously, the WBA approved the date for Bivol’s fight against Mexican Gilberto Ramirez. The fight is scheduled for November 5.
