Journalist Mark Kriegel: Fee for Usyk-Fury fight will be divided 50/50

Earlier, Bob Arum said that the fight could take place on February 11 or 18 in the Middle East.

ESPN journalist Mark Kriegel spoke about how the fee for the fight between the WBA / WBO / IBF / IBO heavyweight champion will be divided Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) and WBC champion Tyson Fury (32-0-1).

“It’s going to be 50/50. I was talking to Bob Arum today and he said it’s a matter of course. My other sources also confirm this. So, we have one controversial point, which is completely excluded. This is good news for me, proving that the fight will take place.

The head of Top Rank, Bob Arum, said that the fight between Fury and Usyk could take place on February 11 or 18 in the Middle East – Saudi Arabia, Qatar or the United Arab Emirates.

Usyk’s manager, Egis Klimas, claims that the battle between the Ukrainian and Fury could be held at the end of this or early next year in the Middle East.

Fury had previously instructed his promoters to inform the World Boxing Council that he was not going to vacate the title and retire.

Recall that Fury is demanding $ 500 million for a unification fight with Usyk. Fury also said that he gives a period of seven days to all interested people who want to organize his fight with Usyk. Otherwise, Tyson will not return to the ring.

Immediately after the rematch victory over Joshua Usyk called out WBC champion Tyson Fury to fight. Following the results of all twelve rounds, Usyk defeated Joshua by a split decision of the judges.
