Athletistic/ MMA. UFC Sports Organization President Dana White has shared his thoughts on Russian mixed-style fighter Victoria Dudakova’s victory over Brazilian Maria Silva at Dana White’s Contender Series tournament.
“I didn’t like that fight, but she showed everything I wanted to see. She won as an underdog, she’s incredibly strong mentally and physically. And she dominated a bigger, stronger girl with more experience. She’s only 23. She has everything to become a UFC champion, and I can’t wait to see what she does next,” White said.
Dana White’s Contender Series is something of a showcase for the UFC promotion. Victoria Dudakova defeated Maria Silva by unanimous decision, after which the UFC offered her a contract. The record of the Russian, who plays in the bantamweight division, is 6 wins, 0 losses and 0 draws. Maria Silva suffered the first defeat of her career. Before that, the Brazilian beat her rivals 9 times.
