The athlete performs in the weight category up to 67 kg. He was punished after traces of dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) were found in his doping test, which he passed on Dec. 15, 2021. USADA determined that Coleman was using a dietary supplement labeled as containing DHEA.
During his career, Coleman suffered several head injuries. To get rid of headaches, the athlete began to take the mentioned dietary supplement on the recommendation of his trainer.
The coach also expressed the opinion that the food supplement would be useful for other members of the American team who are experiencing discomfort following the consequences of traumatic brain injuries.
