Ukrainian WBO, WBA and IBF heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk talked about his future sports projects.
The boxer admitted that he was only interested in two boxers as rivals.
– Make a deal to fight Fury? Let’s see. I don’t want to make empty statements. I could fight Fury or Deontay Wilder, but that’s where my interest ends,” Usyk said.
On August 20, Usyk defeated Britain’s Anthony Joshua by split decision and retained three heavyweight championship belts: WBO, WBA and IBF. The Ukrainian challenged Fury to a fight Immediately after the fight, the Briton accepted Usyk’s challenge.
American Wilder held his last fight on October 9, 2021, in which Fury lost by knockout.
