Andy wants at least three fights a year
Former World Heavyweight Champion Andy Ruiz commented on the victory over Luis Ortiz and challenged the former world champion Deontay Wilder.
“I think I boxed well with him. It was quite difficult, but my skills and my counterattacks helped me send Ortiz to the floor.”
“I didn’t want to wait that long for the fight. I want to fight at least three or four times a year. I’m ready, I’m hungry. I want to be a champion again.”
“Deontay Wilder and I are in the same organization. Al Haymon can arrange this fight. Let’s arrange it,” Ruiz said.
Recall that Ruiz defeated Ortiz via unanimous decision. At the same time, Andy knocked down the opponent three times.
The fight with Ortiz was Ruiz’s first in 15 months. Last May, Andy defeated Chris Arreola via unanimous decision.
