The manager of the Ukrainian called a possible fight between Fury and Joshua “a battle of two fighters who lost”
WBC champion Tyson Fury (32-0-1, 23 KOs) replied Egisu KlimasuWBA/WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight champion manager Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs), who commented on Fury’s possible fight with Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs).
“I will destroy Usyk, the fighter with the little man syndrome. If he is ready to beat me, then let’s have a fight in December, a bunch of slackers, ”wrote Fury.
This was in response to Klimas, who stated that Fury vs. Joshua “after Usyk’s victory over Fury, will be a good fight between two fighters who lost to see who is better.”
Recall that Fury said he was ready to fight Joshua next. First of all, it depends on whether they will be able to organize a duel for the title of absolute champion with Usyk in the near future.
Fury has previously stated that he is not going to wait until next year to fight Usyk. The Briton is set to announce his next opponent within a week.
Recall, Usyk said that the duel with Fury in December is impossible. The Ukrainian needs to recover from injuries and rest after the rematch with Joshua.
Usyk also said that he was primarily interested in a duel with Fury.
Last month, the Ukrainian defeated Briton Anthony Joshua in twelve rounds by split decision: 115-113, 116-112 and 113-115. Immediately after the victory, Usyk challenged Fury to the fight.
