Fury offered Joshua a 60/40 split in his favor for a title fight

The fight could take place later this year.

WBC World Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury again turned to the British boxer Anthony Joshua. This time, the Gypsy King offered AJ a 60/40 split in his favor for a WBC title fight.

Recently, Fury reached out to Anthony Joshua twice via social media and offered him a fight. Tyson also stressed that he was ready to provide a chance for Anthony to take possession of the WBC belt.

Fury’s co-promoter Frank Warren previously confirmed that a bout between the two Britons could take place this November. In turn, Joshua and Anthony’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, are waiting for more decisive action from Fury’s team. According to them, Anthony will be ready to fight in December.

In August, Joshua lost by split decision to Ukrainian boxer, WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk.

Fury defeated Dillian Whyte ahead of schedule in April of this year, after which he announced his retirement twice. At the same time, Tyson has not yet vacated the WBC championship belt.
