Warren: Fury-Joshua fight could take place this November

The fight must take place in the UK

Frank Warrenco-promoter of the WBC heavyweight champion tyson fury, announced progress in negotiations with the British Anthony Joshua about the fight.

“It will be in the UK and hopefully in November. This is what we hope for. Tyson wants to fight here and perform in front of the British fans.”

“At this time of year, you really only have one choice and that is Millennium Stadium. It will take a lot of effort and money, but they are not interested in the financial part if the fight takes place in the UK.

Recently, Fury reached out to Anthony Joshua twice via social media and offered him a face-to-face fight. Tyson also stressed that he was ready to provide a chance for Anthony to take possession of the WBC belt.

In turn, Joshua and Anthony’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, are waiting for more decisive action from Fury’s team. According to them, Anthony will be ready to fight in December.

In his last fight, Joshua lost by split decision to Ukrainian boxer, WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk.

Tyson Fury defeated Dillian Whyte in April of this year, after which he announced his retirement twice. At the same time, the Briton has not yet vacated the WBC championship belt.
