Gypsy King challenges Anthony to a face-to-face fight

WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (32-0-1, 23 KOs) turned to his compatriot for the second time in a day Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs) with a proposal to hold a full-time duel.

“Hey Anthony Joshua, what do you say big G? While Usyk whines, let’s give the fans a spectacle. I know the date and place of the battle. Who will rule Britain?” Fury tweeted.

Today, Fury reached out to Anthony Joshua via social media and offered him a face-to-face fight. Tyson also stressed that he was ready to provide a chance for Anthony to take possession of the WBC belt.

On August 20, Joshua lost a split decision to Ukrainian boxer, WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight champion Alexander Usik in a rematch.

Joshua is ready to return to the ring this year with any opponent. Briton promoter Eddie Hearn announced his readiness to arrange a fight for Anthony in November-December, and also expressed confidence in Joshua’s three or four fights in 2023.

Tyson has retired from professional football twice after a convincing win over Dillian Whyte in April. At the same time, the Briton has not yet vacated the WBC championship belt.

Immediately after the victory in a rematch over Joshua Usyk called out WBC champion Tyson Fury to fight. In turn, the Gypsy King demands $500 million for a unification fight with Usyk.

Usyk’s promoter, Alexander Krasyuk, denied that the fight with Fury would be held on December 17 in Saudi Arabia. According to him, negotiations are ongoing. At the same time, the Ukrainian boxer said that there would be no fight with Tyson in 2022.
