Athletistic/ Boxing. Kazakh boxer Gennady Golovkin feels his future rival Saul “Canelo” Alvarez is giving a poor assessment of his own performances, especially the fight with Russian Dmitry Bivol.
“It’s wrong to assume what the score should be, I’m not the judge. But Bivol looked better and his victory was more convincing than it seemed by the score. Canelo put his hands up and said he only lost a few rounds. This shows that he is completely out of touch with reality. He is no longer able to properly assess his successes and failures,” Golovkin said.
On May 7, 2022, Saul “Canelo” Alvarez lost to Dmitry Bivol via unanimous decision. After the fight, Alvarez said he looked better in most rounds.
On September 17, 2022, Canelo will face Gennady Golovkin for the third time in his career. In the first fight between these rivals on September 16, 2017, a draw was recorded, the second fight on September 15, 2018 ended with Alvarez winning by majority decision.
The third bout for the undisputed IBF, WBC, WBA Super and WBO middleweight titles will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in the US town of Paradise, which borders Las Vegas.
