The boxers met in the ring in May, Bivol won by unanimous decision and defended the WBA super light heavyweight title.
– I had problems with the camp during the preparation of Bivol. Yes, I lost, but soon I will have another chance. I think I can easily beat him, I haven’t fought in my weight class. I took five or six laps and then I got tired. But all this is an experiment, – said the world champion in four weight classes.
Bivol has previously stated that he is not pursuing a rematch with Canelo. On November 5 in Abu Dhabi (UAE) Bivol will hold the tenth defense of the WBA (Super) belt against mandatory challenger Gilberto Ramirez from Mexico.
