The duel between the British boxers should take place on the third of December this year.

There will be a fight between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury. The former world heavyweight champion accepted the terms for a fight with the WBC title holder.

The corresponding statement was published by Joshua’s management company.

“258 and Matchroom Boxing, on behalf of Anthony Joshua, can confirm that we agree to all the terms Tyson Fury’s team forwarded to us on Friday regarding the December 3 fight.

Due to the death of the Queen, we have agreed to suspend all communication. We await a response,” said the 258 MGT Twitter page.

Note that the Fury team’s response was short-lived. Soon after, promoter Frank Warren promised to send Joshua a contract to fight Tyson.

“The contract is yours soon,” wrote the functionary.

It can be remembered that earlier in Joshua’s team they said that they want to postpone the fight with Fury to another day.
