The first screening was attended by Secretary General of the Russian Boxing Federation Tatyana Kiriyenko, who in a conversation with journalists shared her impressions of the film.
– We all watched a movie about Nikolai Fedorovich Korolev in one breath. A man who showed a shining example of how to love your country and be ready to defend it at all times. This is how boxers have always been defenders of the country. We are always ready to lend a hand, to defend the honor, dignity and sovereignty of our country. After all, athletes are not only strong in body, but above all in spirit. And girls are no exception! Open, honest, decent – they are the property of today’s national boxing. It’s great that we raised them this way. And we, in turn, were brought up on the example of people like Nikolai Korolev.
I want to note that the film was shot under the program of the Russian Boxing Federation, according to which every year we release a documentary film or a book about the legendary boxer. The release of the film about Nikolai Korolev is not scheduled on a certain date, it is our current daily work. By the way, now we are preparing the Encyclopedia of Boxing, on which a large team of authors is working. We see no future in the federation if we do not honor the history of our country, including the history of national boxing. One of the brightest characters in this story was Nikolai Korolev, Kiriyenko said.
